TICKETS

Entrance ticket to the Basilica Complex € 9

Free admission*:  children up to 12 years, the handicapped and their companions, tourist guides and group leaders.

The ticket allows you to visit : Basilica of San Lorenzo, Old Sacristy, the Cloisters, the Treasury Museum, the crypt and the monumental underground

The visit to the Medici Library and the Medici Chapels is not included and requires the purchase of various admission tickets.

* The free tickets are applicable only with the purchase of tickets atla biglietteria della Basilica

ACCESSIBILITY

For the visit of the complex of the Basilica of San Lorenzo, access is guaranteed to all people with reduced mobility, who also benefit from free admission for accompanying persons.

APP

For the visit we suggest the free download of the app with audio guide of the Basilica of San Lorenzo. It contains information and audio guides of the main points of interest and works of the Basilica, the Underground and the Cloisters.

PHOTOS AND FILMING

In the Basilica it is allowed to take pictures without disturbing other visitors. The use of flashes, tripods and other professional tools is not allowed. Those who need professional material must ask for specific permission by writing an e-mail to info@operamedicealaurenziana.org

The Basilica of San Lorenzo is first of all a sacred place.

The visit to museums in compliance with the legislation to combat epidemiological contagion

ATTENTION! From 1 April 2022, in compliance with government provisions (https://www.dgc.gov.it/web/) for access to museums, archaeological parks, exhibitions, archives, libraries and other places of culture is no longer required possession of the reinforced green pass, nor of the basic one. The obligation to use surgical masks remains, (decree-law no. 24/2022)

Inside the museums, all national and regional regulations will apply to combat the spread of the coronavirus. It is forbidden to enter with a body temperature over 37.5 degrees; the use of suitable CE masks to cover the mouth and nose is mandatory during the entire stay inside the museums. Groups cannot exceed the number of 15 people (including accompanying persons or guides); group leaders (whether they are tourist guides, teachers or any other type of accompanying person) must have a whisper system (microphone and earphones) for closed places, in the event that the group is more than 6 units (guide or accompanying persons).
